HOW I ENDED UP HERE:

After graduating early from Pittsburg State University with a Bachelor’s in Commercial Graphics, I began my first full time job at Stouse, Inc. – a large screen printing company. I began as a clerk, sorting papers and learning the business. I was soon able to move up to an art desk and within three years I was promoted two more times. The work was mundane and I always longed to have my own business where I would have creative freedom, I just never had the guts to leave my comfortable job. In the spring of 2014 I found out I was pregnant with my first child and the gears started moving. I always knew I wanted to stay home with my children, and this was the perfect opportunity to make the jump and start a business of my own. In the summer of 2015, when my daughter was about 6 months old, I took on my first freelance design job and have never looked back.

A BIT MORE ABOUT ME:

I live in beautiful Kansas City with my husband Mark and our 2 year old daughter Penelope. Mark and I met at Pittsburg University in 2007 when I was a freshman and he was in his first year of his Masters. We were married in the summer of 2011 and Penelope was born in early 2015. We love going to Royals games(Penelope has her very own brick there!), exploring our gorgeous city, and having a couple beers together.
